Furosemide 40mg / 100mg contraindications

Furosemide is contraindicated if you have any of the following conditions:
- If you are allergic to sulfa drugs;
- If you are sensitive to or have ever had an allergic reaction to Furosemide or diuretics;

- Ethacrynic acid (edecrin);
- Aspirin and other salicylates;
- Aminoglycoside antibiotics such as garamycin;

- Sensitivity to light;
- Ringing in the ears;
- Restlessness;
- Reddish or purplish spots on the skin;
- Rash;

- Low potassium (leading to symptoms like dry mouth);
- Loss of appetite;
- Itching;
- Hives;
- High blood sugar;
- Hearing loss;
- Headache;
- Fever;
- Excessive thirst;

- Diarrhea;
